On September 1, the university held a general meeting with first-year students of the Software Engineering Department. The event was held in a solemn and at the same time warm atmosphere, becoming an important start to the new academic year.

The rector of the university, Akpanbetov Darkhan Berikovich, addressed the first-year students with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of the chosen profession and wishing the students perseverance, a desire for knowledge and active participation in the scientific and social life of the university.

As part of the meeting, the students got acquainted with the history and traditions of the university, the structure of the faculty and the activities of the department. An introduction to advisors was also organized, who will accompany the students throughout the entire period of study, helping them with educational and organizational issues.

The head of the department and teachers spoke in detail about the opportunities for participation in scientific projects, competitions and student initiatives, noting that studying at the university opens up broad prospects for professional and personal development.

The meeting became the first step for first-year students to master their chosen specialty and join the large university family.
