October 1 is the International Day of the Elderly.On this day, elderly people are honored in Kazakhstan for their long-term work and huge contribution to the formation of our state.In addition to the traditional meetings, the veterans' organization of the country held a charity event "Old People are our heritage", timed to October 1.
The main purpose of the celebration of the Day of the Elderly: to draw attention to socially vulnerable elderly people, single pensioners and elderly disabled people, to provide them with financial assistance.Concerts are held on this day.
