At any time, the status of the lifeguard profession is always high. After all, they are not only engaged in saving human lives, but also competing for their lives. We seek the help of first-time rescuers in flood, fire, disaster, and even in ordinary household matters. Our university also has a number of students who have made this difficult and interesting profession the meaning of their lives. We want to talk about the pride of the University Adil Mukashev, a 4th – year student of the Department of semi – scientific disciplines of the Kazakhstan engineering and Technological University, majoring in Environmental Protection and safety of life. Adil currently works as a driver in the specialized fire department No. 17 of the Department of emergency situations in Nur - Sultan.

In 2021, during the mass disinfection of the city in Nur-Sultan, on Zhubanova Street, on the third floor of a multi-storey building, a fire broke out from the kitchen under unknown circumstances. At the time of the fire, there were 2 children in the apartment. They tried to protect themselves from the enemy, and in the apartment of kyltima, they asked their neighbors to help and save them. At that moment , a specialized fire brigade entered the apartment building and began its work. Standing in the courtyard, waiting for an order, ready, seeing the children trapped inside the apartment from the outside, he immediately begins his work. In order to get to the height, a special 3-storey ladder was installed, and two children who were left in the apartment were rescued from the fire. Ambulance workers arrived and provided first aid to the surviving family. President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was awarded the Medal "Halyk algysy" for courage and courage during the fire at a solemn event held on the day of the guard.
