On March 31, 2022, a round table was held among students of higher educational institutions of Almaty on the topic "Bala degen bir bakyt" in connection with the announcement by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of 2022 as the Year of Children. The event was attended by students of several universities. The meeting, organized with the aim of increasing the sense of mercy for children, developing love for the Motherland, promoting the prosperity of the country, providing voluntary public assistance, was attended by 1st year students, under the guidance of a teacher of the Department of Computer Engineering, Automation and Telecommunications of the Kazakhstan Engineering and Technology University A. Zh. Skakov and students Zhanbot Pashbak, Aidan Kanat, who took prize-winning third place.

At the event, which was held in four stages, the members of the commission expressed interest in the project of the team of the Kazakhstan University of Engineering and Technology, specially prepared for the Children's Year. The meeting continued with a discussion on the topic "The child and the Internet". Interesting thoughts were voiced within the framework of the topic, and at the end of the discussion, observers expressed their opinion about the upbringing of a mature personality, based on the formation of national consciousness and civilization. At the end of the event, the students took part in a round table, where they awarded the students of the Kazakhstan Engineering and Technology University, who took the third prize and were awarded certificates.
