As part of the events dedicated to the Day of Science, a round table "Continuing the traditions of the linguistic school" was held on April 8, 2022. The event was attended by well-known scientists of Turkey and Kazakhstan: Dr. Selenay Koshumju, Professor E.Esbosyn, Professor E.A.Utesheva. The main purpose of the round table is to acquaint students with the traditions of the Turkic linguistic school, as well as with the main scientific discoveries and achievements made in its mainstream.

Reports were presented on the topic "The main representatives of the Turkic linguistic school", "Learning the Turkish language in Kazakhstan", "Learning English in the national auditorium". Associate Professor, Ph.D. Tukebayeva Zh.A. made a welcoming speech. Then Dr. Selenay Koshimju from Turkey spoke about the study of the Turkish language in Kazakhstan and spoke in more detail about the scientific views and achievements of Turkish scientists in Kazakhstan. Then the reports of Kazakhstani scientists were presented. Also at the round table were teachers Kotosheva K.K., Nurtazayeva A.B., Abdisuleimenova R.Sh, Ultarakova Z.R., Estemisov A.Z. KazITU students actively participated by asking questions. Summing up the results of the round table, the head of the department, Nurtazayeva A.B. and Tukebayeva Zh.A. thanked all participants for their active and fruitful work, and expressed confidence in further cooperation in the exchange of students between Universities.
