On April 8, Professor of the Department "Technology, Equipment and Standardization" M. T. Vilyamov held an open lecture on the topic "Genetically modified products and prospects for their use in the Republic of Kazakhstan". The lecture was attended by students of the specialties ”Biotechnology", ”Food technology" and teachers of the department. At the open lecture, it was told about the types of genetically modified products, their prospects for use in Kazakhstan. During the lesson, students asked questions, showed interest in the topic, and were active. At the end of the open lecture, the teachers expressed their opinion, noting that the lecture was held at a high level.
