Nationally, the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken" together with the Ministry of Education and Science have been conducting an independent assessment of educational programs of Kazakhstani universities for the fourth year in a row. The rating was conducted according to 19 criteria, among which, it is possible to distinguish: the level of employment of graduates, the median salary of graduates, accreditation of the educational program, the quality of teaching staff and the relevance of educational programs. According to the rating of NCE RK "Atameken", the Educational program "Technological machines and equipment" of the Kazakhstan University of Engineering and Technology took 8th place among 17 universities. The educational program showed an 88% employment rate, and an average salary of 163512.
