The staff of KazETU supports the referendum and calls for a vote

On May 17, a meeting of the staff and students with the editor-in-chief of Deutsche Allgemeine Zeitung, Chairman of the Journalists Club of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan in Almaty Klimenko Olesya Sergeevna took place at the Kazakhstan Engineering and Technology University. Political and legal reforms proposed by the Head of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan were discussed at the meeting. At the opening of the meeting, the Rector of the Kazakhstan University of Engineering and Technology Gulnara Sarsenbekova noted the importance of the upcoming referendum for the history of the country and expressed the opinion that the referendum on amendments and additions to the Constitution is a vivid example of the country's democratic path. The editor-in-chief of the Deutsche Allgemeine Zeitung, the chairman of the Journalists Club of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Almaty, Olesya Klimenko, came to hold a meeting on the referendum, which occupies an important place in the future of the country.
"The KazЕTU team expressed its support for the initiative of the head of state to hold a republican referendum on amendments and additions to the Constitution of Kazakhstan and calls on all Kazakhstanis to take an active part in the referendum on June 5. The referendum is a great opportunity for society to participate in democratic processes, for democratic transformations on the way to building a new Kazakhstan," said Gulnara Alibekovna, Rector of the University. In turn, Olesya Klimenko noted that the proposed amendments and additions to the Constitution are aimed at protecting the fundamental rights and guarantees of every citizen, stability and unity in society. Such a referendum is a historical moment, the basis of particularly important political transformations taking place in the history of independent Kazakhstan. Professor, Ph.D., Kotosheva Kaini Kenzhetaevna noted that voting in the referendum is very important for every resident of Kazakhstan who has embarked on the path of big changes, a new stage of the country's development. At the meeting, university students also expressed their thoughts. Member of the Supervisory Board, 2nd year student of KazЕTU Bakdaulet Ertuganov believes that it is especially important that young people feel responsible for the referendum, which opens the way to change and modernization in the country. The future is in the hands of young people, every today's business should become the basis for building a bright future. He urged his contemporaries to vote for a bright future.
