On September 22, the "Day of the Department" was held at the Department of Engineering of Computer, Automated and Telecommunication Systems. The event was attended by students and teachers. The purpose of the event was to familiarize, mainly, first-year students with the teachers of the department, to inform them about the training trajectories of the OP "Software Engineering", "Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications", "Automation and Control", "Information technologies in the electric power industry".

At the event, the head of the department A.T.Bektemesov made a welcoming speech, who spoke about the achievements of the department and the mission of the department. Professors and teachers of the department T.M.Takabaev, S.N.Martynyuk, B.M.Sagitzhanov spoke. They told about their career, about the prospects that open up to the holders of the KazITU diploma. T.Takabayev spoke about the existing Data Center. S.Martynyuk, a foreign lecturer from Turkey, spoke about the opening of a Data center at the university. B.Sagitzhanov enthusiastically told about his studies, about achievements in robotics, told about the robotics club of our university, answered questions from interested students, encouraged students to comprehend science and work for the benefit of the Motherland. In conclusion, A.Bektemesov wished the students good luck and success in their studies. Students and teachers actively participated in the organization and holding of the event, and also created an atmosphere of positive emotions.
