A lecture was held with students and teachers of the International University of Engineering and Technology with an officer, major of the Department of Civil Defense of the Emergency Department of Almaty Baymukhambetova Sandugash Amantayevna on the topic "Safety in the bathing season and 10 simple steps in an earthquake". In order to prevent the death of people on the reservoirs of the country in the upcoming bathing period, "On safety measures for the bathing season of 2023". The lecture was held in order to raise awareness of residents and guests of Almaty about the rules of behavior in emergency situations using the cascade method of training.

During the lecture, teachers and students learned about safety measures on the water during bathing, as well as learned about non-structural seismic reinforcement and the configuration of the "alarm suitcase". An employee of the Emergency Department of Almaty presented a 4D educational poster, which showed that the paintings "come to life". This not only teaches teachers and students the theory of actions in earthquakes and fires, but also allows them to consolidate it in practice. As part of the lecture, representatives of education and students were trained in correct and prompt actions in the event of natural and man-made emergencies. To consolidate the information received, training videos on life safety were demonstrated, as well as visual aids in the form of brochures and memos were distributed. The lecture was very interesting and useful, the students expressed their gratitude.
