On February 20, 2020, according to the educational plan of the adviser, a seminar-training was held for students on the topic "Standards for research and publication of scientific works" at the department of "Natural Sciences".

The workshop was attended by faculty of the department and first-year students of university in the field of "Finance", "Marketing", "Economics", "Tourism", 3 year "Life safety and environmental protection", 4 year "Chemical technology of organic substances".

The main idea of this seminar is to familiarize students from the first courses with the requirements for publications in scientific journals, including those recommended by KKSON MES RK, SCOPUS, Thomson Reuters, with the conditions for participation in international scientific and practical conferences held in the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad, in competitions for research projects and other aspects related to science. Students also need to familiarize themselves with the standards for writing and designing the thesis (project), the implementation of educational, industrial, undergraduate practice.
