On 29.12.2020 in KazETU College an online round table was held on the theme: "Professional standards for technological specialties, technical and vocational education programs".

 The seminar was attended by teachers of the college.

Guests of the seminar were representative of "Nokia" company Markin Bakyt Bakhytchanuly, general director of "Com Engineering" LLP Smakhanov Arman Erzhanuly.

During the meeting the Deputy Director on the educational and industrial work of the college Tolendi Olzhas Maratuly told about the changes and innovations that will be introduced in the educational system in the coming year, and also told about formed catalog of specialties in accordance with the needs and demands of employers on the content of special disciplines in the available model programs. Our guest from the employers' side Smakhanov Arman Erzhanuly, general director of "Com Engineering" LLP noted, that some special disciplines on specialty 1306000 - "Radio electronics and communication" are not necessary in the future, and based on the experience of other developed countries in the field of education, the program of special disciplines should be modernized. In this regard, the representative of the company "Nokia" Markin Bakyt Bakhytchanovich noted that the specialty 1304000 - "Computer Engineering and Software" should work on the development of the program of special disciplines and the introduction of new disciplines.

The most important proposals of employers: the opening of laboratory centers on specialty, the organization of seminars and conferences according to the specialty, exchange of experience with educational programs of other countries, the introduction of new special disciplines, development of modern educational programs on special disciplines and full use by students of theory on special disciplines during the production practice.

At the end of the meeting the college teachers were able to ask the employers questions and get answers. The director of the college Shalabaeva M.H. thanked the participants of the round table on behalf of the staff and summed up.
