The musical evening "Ar olen-bir alem" was held to the 90th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet Mukagali Makatayev. The opening word was given to the director of college Shalabaeva Maira Khusainkyzy. Sketches by the poet's works were shown. College students were very active in reading by heart poems and in singing songs.

The first year student of the specialty "Tourism" Soltan Shynasyl performed a song "Esine meni algaysyn". Students of the first course showed a theatrical performance based on the poem "Akkular Uyiktaganda", Yestayeva Akbota performed the role of mother. Other students also showed acting skills. Such a wonderful work "Sezim" by  Mukagali Makataev was read by the first year student Kainen Symbat. The audience listened to "Shyda, shyda" performed by Yerikov Aibek, and “Sabi Ana" by Tursynbaeva Meruert. There was also a quiz among the audience, all actively participated and answered to the questions of the quiz, there were raffled prizes.

The President of the Youth organization Juman Tomiris summed up the event and wished all students and teachers good luck. Literary and musical evening devoted to 90th anniversary of Mukagali Makataev was organized by Isatai Araylym Makhazhankyzy, teacher of Kazakh language and literature of KazETU college.
