A Guide to Accessing and Learning Coursera
On this page, you can log in using the login password provided by the university(mail.ru), access the Coursera platform (coursera.org), sign up for mandatory courses, etc.

Description: Training on the Coursera platform as part of the Coursera Qazaq Tilinde project is FREE! To log into the platform safely, follow the instructions STRICTLY to avoid negative situations such as money being accidentally debited from your account.

You are licensed to study on Coursera only once during your entire course at the University for a specified period of time. The university authorities assign you mandatory courses that must be completed within a certain period of time. But more than that, you can enroll in other courses that interest you while access is available, and receive certificates for them.

Algorithm for training and successful completion of courses:

  1. Access to the platform: After receiving an invitation to your university E-mail, you need to log into the platform as soon as possible following the instructions, as administrators will be conducting full monitoring from the moment the invitation email is sent.

Note: Training on the Coursera platform within the framework of the Coursera Qazaq Tilinde project is FREE! To safely access the platform, STRICTLY follow the instructions to avoid negative situations, such as accidental withdrawal of money from your account.

  2. Enrollment in mandatory courses: After logging into the platform, you need to enroll in mandatory courses. Information about the mandatory courses, as well as the subjects for which credit will be given, is in this document:

Note: Please pay attention to the exact names of the courses intended for mandatory completion. Make sure they match the records in the table, and also check the name of the university that posted this course, to ensure it exactly matches what is listed in the table. Otherwise, you may mistakenly enroll in the wrong course, which will not be counted towards the subject!

  3. Participation in the course: Students must actively participate in the course on the Coursera platform. This includes watching video lectures, completing assignments, participating in discussion forums, etc.

  4. Engagement: To recognize the learning outcomes, the student must achieve a certain level of participation in the course. The minimum engagement percentage should be at least 60%. Engagement involves the amount of time spent on the course, watching all video lectures, completing all types of assignments, and final control.

  5. Certificate: Upon completion of the course, the student must obtain a certificate, which is an official document for recognizing learning outcomes for the subject. The certificate must be saved in PDF format and provided to the teacher or curator to recognize the learning outcomes.

Note: The teacher has the right not to count the credits for the subject, if the certificate is not provided and the engagement percentage is not at least 60%. The certificate will not be valid if the engagement percentage is less than 60%. In this case, the student will not be able to successfully complete this subject.
