History and philosophy of science
The purpose of the discipline is to form students' in-depth theoretical knowledge and consolidate practical skills that provide an interdisciplinary worldview based on a deep understanding of the history and philosophy of scientific thinking as part of universal culture. As a result of studying the discipline, the student will be able to interpret the forms and methods of scientific, scientific and extra-scientific cognition, modern methods of cognition, formulate and solve problems arising in the course of research activities.
Philosophy
The course forms complete outlook which developed in the context of social historical and cultural development of humanity. The course considers and studies evolution of philosophical thought in the history of mankind, the basic philosophical ideas of different cultures and eras, theoretical designs of certain philosophers. The philosophy is designed to develop steady vital reference points, finding of sense of the life as special form of spiritual production. Promotes formation of moral shape of the personality with ability of critical and creative thinking. Theoretical sources of this course are concepts of the western, Russian, Kazakhstan scientists on history and the theory of philosophy.
Culturology
"Cultural science" considers the common problems of the theory of culture keeping Cultural science concepts, universal regularities and mechanisms of formation and cultural development, the main historical stages of formation and development of world and Kazakhstan culture, their major achievements. Forms ideas of scientific contents and the analysis of Cultural science problems; development by students of the basic methodological theoretical provisions of modern cultural science.
