Disciplines taught

Mathematical modeling (MathCAD)

The goal and objectives of the discipline are mastering the methods of mathematical modeling, the formation of the ability to use mathematical methods in solving applied problems, intellectual development and the formation of the mathematical culture of students, performing the simplest operations for creating, initializing and transforming matrices and vectors, accessing array elements using the MathCAD language. Learning outcomes: after completing the course, the student must know: the methodology and methodology for constructing, analyzing and applying mathematical models of economic objects, the concept of correlation, regression, optimization; the hierarchy of classes of computational objects (data types), methods for evaluating the performance of program code in the MathCAD environment and methods for increasing the efficiency of programs; be able to: perform mathematical calculations (numerical and symbolic solution of problems of mathematical analysis, vector algebra), build graphical dependencies, perform statistical calculations using the MathCad, Excel environment; work with software packages for analytical and numerical research of mathematical models.

Modelling Mathlab

The purpose of the discipline is an in-depth study of modern computer mathematics tools for solving applied problems using mathematical modeling methods in the Mathlab environment, the study of methods of analysis and computational experiment, to familiarize with modern software modeling tools Mathlab. The discipline forms practical skills of knowledge of modern computer technologies and methods of solving practical problems in the field of programming, modeling in the Mathlab environment, which will be useful in the subsequent application of modern information technologies in scientific research, mastering computer methods of signal processing and mathematical modeling of technical systems. After completing the training, the student will be able to independently create computer models of various processes, competently design and present the results of creating a computer model, carry out modeling in the Mathlab system and the Simulink modeling environment associated with it.
