On April 27-28, 2023, an international scientific and practical conference on the topic "Development of University science and consolidation with research organizations as the basis for building an innovative economy" was held on the basis of the International University of Engineering and Technology with the participation of leading scientists from Germany, Turkey, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and other countries.

Rector of the International University of Engineering and Technology, Professor G.A. Sarsenbekova noted that the conference will become a dialogue platform for new innovative ideas, joint projects for the implementation of strategically important areas of economic development.

Professor, Coordinator of international programs at Istanbul Technical University E.I. Veliyev drew attention to the importance of developing the scientific direction of universities in the field of IT technology and expressed readiness to start opening an IT company together with the International University of Engineering and Technology. Director General of the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science named after Academician U.A. Dzholdasbekov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor A.K. Tuleshov focused on the collaboration between universities and research institutes in the creation of intelligent multifunctional robots in the agricultural and food industries. In addition, the relevance of this conference was voiced by Doctor of Technical Sciences, a leading researcher at the German Institute of Technical Thermodynamics of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, R. Shisl, Chairman of the Board of the KazNII for Plant Protection and Quarantine named after Zh. Zhiembayeva Duysembekov B.A. presented the key areas of cooperation with the International University of Engineering and Technology in the field of plant protection and quarantine.

Helvachi M., Professor, Director of the Technical IT Center of the MBA of Istanbul Technical University, Mamytov U.Zh., Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Osh Technological University named after M. Adyshev, Muzdybayeva Sh.A., Director of the Altai Geological and Ecological Institute, Shadenova E.A., Deputy Director General of the Institute of Genetics and Physiology, Alibekova made presentations in the sessions. G.Zh., Deputy Director for Science of the Institute of Economics, R.V. Yashchenko, Director General of the Institute of Zoology, as well as employers, scientists, faculty and students of the University. The conference ended with the adoption of a resolution that includes topical and key issues that will strengthen the scientific activities of the University and research institutes through the development of joint research projects on the basis of scientific and educational centers of the University and laboratories of the Research Institute, as well as the training of scientific personnel for master's and doctoral PhD.
