A week dedicated to the celebration of "Languages of the people of Kazakhstan" was held by the Department of Social and Humanities Disciplines of the Kazakh Engineering and Technology University. The celebration of languages has been celebrated by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan since 1998. Particular attention was paid during the week to the fact that the holiday has a great influence on the friendship of the people living in our country.

The university administration, faculties, students and parents attended the festive event. The poetry of the native language is very popular in the performance of students of other nationalities at the University. Songs of Kazakh, Uzbek, Russian, Kyrgyz, Korean, Chinese, Turkish, and English were sung, as they danced.
