On November 14, 2019 in the Kazakhstan engineering and technological University the meeting of students with the rector of University Sarsenbekova Gulnar Alibekovna took place. The meeting was attended by the Vice-rector for academic Affairs, Dean, faculty, Directors of the Department of economic and information part, head of the student house, head of the security service, members of the student Parliament, heads of student organizations and other heads of structural units. The purpose of the meeting is to acquaint students with the education system at the University, plans for the development of creativity and search of young people, as well as to consider the proposals of students in the learning process, in the whole student life. Opening the meeting, the rector of the University noted the dynamic development of the University, the great contribution of students to the development of the University, the interest of student life in the best time of human life. Students asked their questions and suggestions in the box for preliminary proposals and questions and in the block "100 questions to the rector". So far, by the end of September-October, more than 100 letters have been received to the question box and to the rector's blog. They concerned tuition fees, transfer from one specialty to another, organizational work in the educational process, industrial practice, rules in the house of students, other socially significant problems of student life in General. The rector of the University and heads of structural units gave comprehensive answers to questions concerning their competence. Students gathered at the meeting were also able to Express their opinions on topical issues. The heads of the University were given instructions to the relevant structural units. In conclusion, G. Alibekovna wished the students success in their studies, noted that the proposals and wishes of students are very important for the development of the University, and in the future the issues and questions will be considered in a timely manner. In this regard, the next meeting is scheduled for February.
