On January 29, 2020, a meeting of students with a famous poet took place in the conference hall of KazETU. Honored Journalist of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan - poet Sarsenbek Bekmyratuly. The meeting was held as part of the celebration of the 175th anniversary of Abay Kunanbayev.

The meeting was bright and intense, the poet told students a lot about Abai’s work, about the influence of the views of the Great Humanist Abai on the moral education of the younger generation, gave examples from the work of the thinker and read his best works. In addition, the poet spoke about his poetic creative way, about his journalistic activities, read his poems on various topics: love, about friendship, about the destiny of man.

Our students were able to surprise and please the famous poet by reading poems created by Sarsenbek Bekmyratuly himself, our students know and appreciate the poet’s talent, the guys asked questions on various topics that received interesting and comprehensive answers.

The creative meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. In parting, the poet promised to regularly hold such meetings with students of KazETU.
