On January 28, 2020, a meeting of the rectorate was held. The meeting was attended by the University management, Department Directors, heads of departments, doctors of science and masters. During the meeting, the strategic plan for the development of the Kazakhstan University of engineering and technology for the coming years was discussed Rector of KazETU G. A. Sarsenbekova thanked the team for 100% implementation of the strategic plan set for the University for 2019. Now the GOAL is the Next stage of the new quality. In order to move to this stage, it is necessary to define goals and objectives, develop a new strategy for the development of the University. In accordance with the development strategy of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2025 , one of the main tasks of the educational institution is to improve the social, economic and cultural potential of the country. The meeting was attended by doctors of science M. V. Akhmedyarova, M. D. Tinasilova, and M. V. Muzdybayeva, who expressed their proposals for new strategic development plans. According to them, the University should become a powerful scientific center for applying the concept of innovation, and work effectively with scientific institutions for the development of science. They also noted the importance of sharing experience, strengthening cooperation with foreign universities.
