On February 05, 2020, a lecture on "prevention of offenses among young people" was held at the Kazakhstan university of ngineering and technology. The lecture was held in order to prevent crimes and offenses among young people, as well as to form a legal consciousness among teenagers.

During the meeting, police major of the Bostandyk district Department of internal Affairs Alimbekova Asel Mergenbaevna noted that one of the main tasks facing the society is the prevention of offenses among minors. Criminal liability of minors has its own specifics. The law establishes special conditions for the application of penalties, sentencing, release from criminal liability, the calculation of the limitation period and of a previous conviction for underage individuals. The students asked questions about the topic and the invited guest.
