There was an online contest among students of KazETU college on the theme "Abay Gakliyasy" in honor of 175th anniversary of Abay Kunanbayuly. The aim of the competition: comprehension of the content, educational value of 45 words - admonition of the great poet Abay Kunanbayuly, filled with philosophical statements.

Students of the 1st year took part in the event in Kazakh, Russian and English languages, who revealed the philosophical thoughts of the poet. Students took an active part, recited words from "Gakliya" by heart and tried to reveal the philosophical meaning.

The jury consisted of: the deputy director on educational practice of college Olzhas Maratuly and Akzat Bolatkyzy, the teacher of Russian language and literature Roza Suyundykkyzy.

Three prizes of the 3rd place were taken by Kuatbek Zhazira, a 1st year student of "Tourism", Sorokopudova Evgeniya (in Russian) and Zhaksylyk Erkezhan, students of " Computational technology and software", for the ability to express a reasonable idea in the words "Gakliya". Two 2nd place prizes were taken by Zhukov Ilya (in English) and Iembergen Ayaulym (in Russian), students of  speciality " Computational technology and software" specialty. 1st place was awarded to the 1st year student of "Tourism" specialty Alshyn Ersultan.

All students who participated and were active were awarded letters of thanks. Congratulations to the winners!
