Disciplines taught


Plant science

The purpose of mastering the discipline is to teach students to apply scientifically-based technologies of cultivation of agricultural crops that allow obtaining the maximum yield per unit area. As a result of studying the discipline, the student acquires skills and studies all types, varieties, forms and varieties of cultivated plants as the main means of agricultural production.

Agriculture

Formation of scientific principles of tillage and methods of creating a powerful cultivated arable layer of soil, biological features and classification of weeds, mapping of weeds in the field, have knowledge of preventing field contamination and measures to combat weeds. Be able to: Design and create crop rotations. To be guided in the classification and the basic principles for the construction of crop rotations and to draw up maps of field contamination.

Planning

Agriculture systems, tillage, water, air, heat, food regimes of the soil. Biological features and classification of weed plants. Weed control measures: mechanical, agrotechnical, biological and chemical.

Vegeculture

A general idea of the origin and economic and biological features of species, varieties of fruit and vegetable crops. Get theoretical and practical knowledge on the technology of reproduction, laying gardens and cultivation of fruit and vegetable crops.

Agroecology

The purpose of mastering the discipline is to teach students the formation of environmental cognition skills, to gain in-depth knowledge about the basics of sustainable development of nature and society, theoretical and practical knowledge on the rational use of natural resources and modern methods of environmental protection. As a result of studying the discipline, the student studies the laws of the relationship of organisms at all levels of the organization with the environment, the role of agriculture in the pollution of the biosphere, the features of the ecological crisis, ways and methods of preserving the modern biosphere.

Agrochemistry with the fundamentals of soil science

The purpose of mastering the discipline is to form a system of knowledge among students on soil fertility and its reproduction, methods of regulating soil fertility factors, mastering scientific and practical approaches to compiling crop rotations, a system of measures to combat weeds, the competent use of mineral and organic fertilizers, taking into account the type of soil and its agro-production assessment. As a result of studying the discipline, the student acquires the skills and form a holistic view of the achievements of modern soil science and agrochemistry.

Soil fertility

The purpose of mastering the discipline is to teach students to study the origin, composition and properties of the organic and mineral part of the soil, its absorption capacity, the basics of acidity and oxidative processes, environmental functions. As a result of studying the discipline, the student masters the skills of analyzing and assessing the state of soil fertility, determining directions for improving soil fertility of anthropogenic polluted, unproductive, reclaimed, erosive, arable soils, developing a set of measures and requirements for soil protection.

Pests and diseases of a agricultural crops

The purpose of mastering the discipline is to form students'' knowledge, practical skills and skills for the development of students'' natural-scientific worldview and their acquisition of modern ideas about the protection of crops from pests and diseases, as well as the application of this knowledge in solving problems arising in their subsequent professional activities in accordance with the competencies being formed. As a result of studying the discipline, the student acquires the skills and the study of the biological characteristics of pests and plant pathogens and the acquisition of knowledge on the course of plant protection and their application to specific agricultural problems. The student can use the acquired knowledge further when writing a thesis, preparing scientific articles, reports and presentations of research papers, in practical and research activities.

Soil mapping

The ability to use information tools at the user level to solve problems in the field of soil science, land reclamation, physics, chemistry, geography, biology, ecology, soil erosion, agrochemistry and agrophysics, soil landscape design, soil radiology, protection and rational use of soil.

Reclamation with DOS. hydrology

The purpose of mastering the discipline is to form students' knowledge, skills and the formation of practical skills in the field of general information about the methods and features of design, construction of various reclamation facilities and systems of their operation, to learn how to assess the reclamation condition of any territories, their impact on the environment. As a result of studying the discipline, the student learns to draw up schemes for the placement of irrigation and drainage networks, water distribution, and determine the types of irrigation.

Greenhouse vegetable production

The purpose of mastering the discipline is to teach students to form theoretical knowledge about the biology of vegetable crops, organizational and economic features of protected soil and practical skills in creating and using technologies for their cultivation in conditions of various cultural structures. As a result of studying the discipline, the student acquires skills and prepares students for carrying out production and research work in the greenhouse economy as a field of agriculture.

Examination of the quality of fruits and vegetables

The purpose of the discipline is to teach students to master theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of examination of fruits, vegetables and products of their processing, the formation of theoretical knowledge and practical skills on the issues of preserving quality and reducing product losses at all stages of commodity movement, optimizing the conditions of transportation, storage and sale of products. As a result of studying the discipline, the student masters the skills and forms the quality of products-the ability to determine a set of properties expressing the food, consumer and technological price of products determined by certain indicators. Product quality indicators comply with republican standards.
