Семинар «РОБОТОТЕХНИКА И ПРОГРАММИРОВАНИЕ»

The Department of Computer Engineering, Automation and Telecommunications, together with the director of the College of Shalabayeva Myra Husainovna of the Kazakhstan University of Engineering and Technology, held an online-offline seminar on the topic "Robotics and Programming" on October 22, 2021.
The purpose of the seminar is to develop students' interest in modern robotics, programming, engineering and design, to involve students in applied, research, independent scientific activities.
The speaker at the seminar was A.T. Bektemesov, PhD Computer Science, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering, Automation and Telecommunications, he revealed the basics of robotics to the audience and told them where to start training. He explained what automated systems are. For example, a factory that produces something without direct human involvement is such a system.
In the robotics circles "Reload", which take place every Saturday, students get acquainted with the technology of designing and programming a robot, and then build their first designs themselves and learn how to program them in a special environment for programming Arduino and Python. When developing an idea and building a robot, students develop all kinds of thinking.
As a result of the lessons conducted in the circle, students fully acquire knowledge in the field of robotics, learn to think independently, formulate and express their thoughts logically clearly. As a result, they have a basic base of technical knowledge and engineering thinking.
Lecturer of the department Aizhanova A.E., noted the importance of studying digital technologies and the basics of programming. At the moment, robotics is a new, intensively developing branch of the educational sphere, which has great prospects in the future.

Students showed great interest in the seminar, questions were asked to the speakers. Students and teachers received answers to their questions and shared their opinions. The informative seminar was held for 1 hour and 25 minutes and was remembered by many new, interesting material.
In conclusion, A.T. Bektemesov thanked all participants for their active participation in the seminar, all participants noted the relevance and importance of this topic.
