Today, on January 11, at 11:15 a.m., a meeting of the Majilis of the Parliament was held with the participation of the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. At the meeting, the head of state presented the candidacy of the new Prime Minister of the country. He also made an extensive report on solving urgent problems in the political and socio-economic spheres caused by the tragic events that took place in the country. The KazITU staff listened to the President's report, which was broadcast live, and expressed confidence that at a critical moment for the country, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev promised in an address to the people that our future would be bright. Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took part in a meeting of the Majilis of the Parliament via video link, where he made a large-scale report and gave specific instructions on solving urgent problems in the political and socio-economic spheres of the country. Our country's goal is clear. In his speech, the Head of state also noted that education meets modern challenges and trends through high-quality, stable and fair education. Special attention was paid to the issues of youth, their first place of work, participation in labor. The issue of allocating grants for young people in need of social support was also raised. The task of creating the public fund "Kazakhstan Khalkyna" is, of course, a great support in solving urgent social problems that must be solved urgently.

 

"Increasing the love of young people for their homeland is a serious problem faced by the family, educational institutions, society as a whole," said Gulnar Sarsenbekova, Rector of the Kazakhstan University of Engineering and Technology. At the same time, according to the head of the university, responsibility to society, contribution to the development of civilization is felt by every member of the staff of the Kazakhstan University of Engineering and Technology. On the way to the prosperity of our country, the collective acts as a single body and contributes to the cause of honest work. "We believe that the main value of our country is the preservation and strengthening of Independence, the solution of the problems set by the President on the path of development of new Kazakhstan," the rector said. In this regard, Professor KazЕTU G.K. Kotosheva noted: "In the tragic situation that occurred due to the organization of terrorist groups in the country, which will forever remain in the memory of every citizen of Kazakhstan, thanks to the wise policy and prompt decision of the head of state, we have preserved the Independence of our sovereign country. I know that our President was with the people, supported us even in difficult times. Listening to today`s report, the fire of faith in a peaceful and happy future is instilled in our hearts. I express full confidence that in the future we will have Independence, sovereignty," she added. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, speaking at a meeting of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted that "first of all, it is necessary to firmly take up the formation of a new economic platform of the country. The goal of our economic policy is obvious. This is the creation and development of a market economy with a modern social orientation." The Head of State stressed the need for a great intensification of work in the field of education. It was noted that now priority is given to technical specialties, not humanities, it is necessary to train a new generation of engineers and production workers. This, in turn, is a great responsibility for the Kazakhstan University of Engineering and Technology, which trains specialists in this field.
