On April 7, a regular meeting of the Literary Meetings club "In pricipio erat verbum" was held in the conference hall of the library on the topic: "Poetry is a wonderful country...".      At the meeting, poems in Russian by A.S.Pushkin, S.Yesenin, A.Blok, Zh. Zhabaev, V. Asadov and others were performed. authors. Students-organizers of this event Abdygali Adel, Abdreim Zhanerke told about the history of the World Poetry Day, showed slides about the first events of this Poetry Day. Senior lecturer Abilova R.D. congratulated all participants of the event and in her speech noted that "World Poetry Day is an occasion to honor poets, revive oral traditions of poetry readings, increase interest in reading, unite people from all continents.
