On April 27, 2023, the International University of Engineering and Technology hosted the opening of a joint research and educational center "Robotics and Software Engineering" with a leading scientific organization - the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science named after Academician U.A. Dzholdasbekov.
The Center is aimed at interaction and development of long-term, effective and mutually beneficial cooperation in educational, scientific, scientific, technical and innovative activities in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence.

The event was attended by G.A. Sarsenbekova, Professor, Rector of the International University of Engineering and Technology, leading scientists of research institutes, foreign universities - E.I.Veliyev, Professor, Coordinator of international programs of Istanbul Technical University, M. Helvachi, Professor, Director of the Technical IT Center of the MBA of Istanbul Technical University, A.K. Tuleshov, General Director of the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science named after Academician U.A. Dzholdasbekov, Mamytov U.Zh., Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Osh Technological University named after M. Adysheva, Duysembekov B.A., Chairman of the Board of the KazNII Institute of Plant Protection and Quarantine named after Zh. Zhiembayeva, Muzdybayeva Sh.A., Director of the Altai Geological and Ecological Institute, Shadenova E.A., Deputy Director General of the Institute of Genetics and Physiology, Alibekova G.Zh., Deputy Director for Science of the Institute of Economics, Yaschenko R.V., Director General of the Institute of Zoology, as well as employers, scientists, faculty and students of the University.
The official opening ceremony of the research and educational center was attended by G.A. Sarsenbekova, Professor, Rector of the International University of Engineering and Technology and A.K. Tuleshov, Director General of the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science named after Academician U.A. Dzholdasbekov.
The partners have signed a long-term agreement on joint activities, providing for assistance in conducting research and development work and commercialization of the results of scientific and scientific-technical activities. The Center will train bachelors, masters, PhD students within the framework of the integration of education, science and production.
