International University of engineering and Technology awarded graduates with diplomas of a new type

On July 5, 2023, a solemn presentation of diplomas to graduates of the International University of Engineering and Technology (MITU) took place.
The solemn event was attended by honored guests, employers, former graduates, parents of graduates. This year, 700 students received diplomas from the International University of Engineering and Technology for the first time, since on November 28, 2022, the educational institution was transformed into an International University (MITU). 
MITU provides training in accredited 17 bachelor's degree programs, 5 master's degree programs in the field of food production technology, computer, automated and telecommunication systems engineering, biochemical engineering, economics and business.
In 2023, MITU opened 3 doctoral degree programs in software engineering, biotechnology and food production technology, which in June 2023 successfully passed independent international program accreditation.

 


For the implementation of doctoral programs, consortium agreements have been concluded with leading research organizations - "Scientific and Production Center of Microbiology and Virology", "Kazakh Research Institute of Food and Processing Industry".
MITU successfully implements 5 research projects under grant funding from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, young scientists have become holders of grants "Zhas Galym", scientific research of MITU scientists successfully passed the first rounds in the competition for the commercialization of scientific research.
MITU involves foreign teachers and experts in the educational and research activities of the university, an international scientific and educational HUB has opened, a student business incubator based on leading foreign companies. The teaching staff underwent an international internship with the famous Stamublsky Technical University, from where professors were also invited to lecture at MITU, PhD students of the Slovak University were trained at MITU.
In April 2023, on April 27, 2023, MITU opened a joint research and educational center "Robotics and Software Engineering" with a leading scientific organization - the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science named after Academician U.A. Dzholdasbekov.
Today's MITU is a modern university that actively implements progressive teaching methods, practices and technologies that meet international standards.
