On September 29, the International University of engineering and Technology held a festive event dedicated to the "International Day of Tourism" organized by students studying under the educational program "Tourism" of the Department of Economics and business. 
The event was attended by Independent Director of the Board of Directors of Kazakh Tourism NC JSC, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Tourism Association, president of the Kazakhstan Association of hotels and restaurants Shaikenova Rashida Rashidovna and vice-rector for Strategic Development, Science and international relations of the International University of engineering and technology Karuna Oksana Leonidovna.
Rashida Shaikenova, chairman of the Kazakhstan Tourism Association, spoke about the development of the tourism industry, about the intricacies of the profession in this area, and shared her experience and advice to future specialists in the tourism industry. He noted that the development of the country's tourism industry is one of the most important areas.
