On September 29, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor zh.E. Zhappasov held an open lecture for 1st year students on the subject of the history of Kazakhstan on the topic "The Great Steppe of the XIII – XV centuries". The lecture was attended by the teaching staff of the department and the university administration. The purpose of the lecture was to familiarize students with the political situation on the territory of Kazakhstan in the XIII – XV centuries on the basis of written data and scientific research. Mongol invasion, formation of nationalities, problems of political, ethnic, history of individuals in the Golden Horde era, XIV-XV centuries. The issues of the history of state structures on the territory of Kazakhstan were considered on the basis of written sources. During the lecture, students asked questions, answered and showed activity. An exhibition of books was organized on the basis of written data and Special Studies, textbooks on the topic of the lecturer.
