The solemn evening "Dedication to students of MITU-2023" was held on October 31 in the House of Celebrations "Bakhshasarai". State and public figures, heads of research institutes, well-known scientists, employers,
parents, teaching staff, young scientists, undergraduates and graduates of the university were invited to the festive event.
The traditional holiday began with the performance of the students` Anthem “Gaudeamus" in three languages. 
Young people who have crossed the threshold of the university in the new academic year are the owners of gold medals, winners of international, republican, city Olympiads and competitions, holders of scientific grants and patents, champions, prize-winners of international and republican competitions in sports such as jiu-jitsu, wrestling, boxing, etc.
The solemn event was opened by Ruslan Bakytzhanovich Zhumagulov, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the International Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with a welcoming speech on behalf of the shareholders.
In his speech, Ruslan Bakytzhanovich noted that in 2023 the university received an international status, the educational programs of doctoral studies successfully passed international accreditation, which made it possible to expand training in new educational programs of three levels "Bachelor`s -Master`s -Doctoral studies", which are in demand in the labor market. In addition, international-level research centers equipped with innovative technologies and modern equipment for conducting scientific research were opened. Zhumagulov R.B. He thanked the MITU team headed by the rector for the results achieved and wished further success in development.
The founder of the International University of Engineering and Technology, Doctor of Philology, Professor Zhumagulova Valentina Ivanovna and Rector Sarsenbekova Gulnara Alibekovna in their speeches warmly congratulated the students and wished them to reach new heights, to become qualified and competitive specialists in their field.
 
The head of the University, G.A. Sarsenbekova, presented the best senior students of the International University of Engineering and Technology with letters of thanks, and the first-year students received a symbolic key to knowledge and a student ID.
The event "Dedication to Students" continued with a concert program prepared by students together with university teachers. The famous young performer Asik, the winner of international competitions Nurbolat Abdullin, the group DG Slyash MC Nico and other Kazakh pop stars also performed on the stage.  The university lecturer Mr.Richard Banji with his author`s song was met with stormy applause from the youth.
The First student Waltz performed by 100 first-year students made a great impression. 
A truly wonderful symbiosis of collective partnership and friendly relations was demonstrated by the students and the university staff, performing the song "My Friend" together with the rector. 
 The interior of the palace, elegant students, music created an atmosphere of a beautiful holiday, joy and great hopes.
