Modern society faces various issues related to the separation of religion and the State, religious freedoms and equality before the law. The importance of secularism as a principle in the constitutional system cannot be underestimated. To promote this topic and educate students about the importance of secularism, a meeting with students at our university was held on October 27. The guests of the meeting were Orynbekov Nurlan Amangazuly, a member of the information and explanatory group of the Committee for Religious Affairs of Almaty on "Prevention of religious extremism and terrorism", lecturer of the Department of Political Science and Social Philosophy of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai and Saparov Bakhytzhan Zholdybayuly, lawyer, PhD in Religious Studies, Head of the Center "National Education", Kazakh National Pedagogical University Pedagogical University named after Abai 
The meeting with students on the topic "Secularism as the basis of the constitutional system" was successful and allowed students to better understand this important principle. It also stimulated dialogue and discussion, which is an important part of education and awareness of complex constitutional issues.
Secularism will continue to be a relevant and important topic in discussions about the rights and freedoms of citizens in different countries, and such meetings can contribute to a deeper understanding of this topic among future leaders and citizens.
