On November 17, 2023, the International University of Engineering and Technology hosted a meeting of the university's leadership represented by Rector Sarsenbekova G.A., vice-rectors Akpanbetov D.B., Karun O.L., directors of departments Tatibekov B.N., Nurbalina A.K., Roshonok A. with representatives of the International Center for Cultural Communication (Communication Center Malaysia - ICCCM, Malaysia) with Nasridini A and Benjamin Leon T.K.

During the meeting, issues related to the development of higher education at universities in Malaysia and the International University of Engineering and Technology were discussed. In particular, about the participation of representatives of Malaysian universities in educational projects of the International University of Engineering and Technology, such as lectures by leading professors and scientists, the implementation of programs for external academic mobility of faculty, undergraduates and students, participation and holding of international scientific and practical conferences, symposiums, etc.

Following the meeting, a Memorandum of cooperation was signed.
