The final Academic Council was held at IETU

On December 29, the final meeting of the Academic Council was held under the chairmanship of IETU Rector Sarsenbekova Gulnar Alibekovna.

The Academic Council congratulated the best staff and students who contributed to the development of the university, presented them with letters of thanks and awards on behalf of the rector.



Traditionally, it was dedicated to summarizing the work done during the year.

In 2023, the university implemented many programs and projects: a license for educational activities was obtained for 3 PhD and 2 master`s degree programs, courses from the international Coursera platform were introduced into the educational process, together with the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science named after Academician U.A.Zholdasbekov, the scientific research and educational center "Robotics and Software Engineering" was opened, a round table at the international level with the participation of leading scientists from Russia, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan and representatives of the manufacturing sector "Integration of science and education, technology transfer is a key factor in ensuring the quality of specialist training", with the participation of heads of employer enterprises, universities in Russia and Kyrgyzstan "As an indicator of the quality of design and implementation of educational programs, increasing the role of the employer in vocational training" and with the participation of foreign scientists

On the work of advisors for the 1st half of the 2023-2024 academic year, reports were made by the director of the Department of Youth Policy Sabyrzhanova A. E., on financial and economic activities for 2023. The chief accountant, R.T. Keldibaeva, reported.



The Vice-Rector for Strategic Development, Science and International Relations of the University, O.L.Karuna, spoke in detail about the results of research and innovation activities for 2023.

The Chairman of the Academic Council, G.A. Sarsenbekova, summed up the results of the university`s activities in 2023 and outlined the goals and objectives for the coming year, which will work within the framework of the action plan for the implementation of the Development Program of the International University of Engineering and Technology for 2023-2029.
