The Department of Economics and Business of the International University of Engineering and Technology held an Interuniversity competition of student projects and reports within the framework of the "Week of Student Science" of the Department of Economics and Business from February 12 to 16, 2024. 

The Week of Student Science of the Department of Economics and Business began on February 13 with a Section of scientific projects, within which projects in the following five areas were heard: 

1. Small and medium-sized business projects 

2. Tourism development in Kazakhstan: problems and solutions

3. Nutrition and its impact on human health

4. The impact of negative factors (smoking) on human health

5. Production activities

In total, 16 projects were considered by students of not only the International University of Engineering and Technology, but also the Universities of Narkhoz and Turan. 

According to the results of the discussion, the following winners were determined by the members of the commission: 

• Diploma of the first degree –Tleulinova Shirailym, Chitilova Aida, Bakhytbekova Balzhan, Niyazymbetova Muslima (MITU)

• Diploma of the II degree – Rakhmanov Shahnazar (MITU)

• Diploma of the III degree – Kinayatova Mldir (Narkhoz University)

           

On the second day of the Student Science Week, on February 14, the Section of scientific reports in three directions began its work: 

1. Socio-economic development of Kazakhstan at the present stage

2. Innovative development of the economy of Kazakhstan

3. Marketing activities and entrepreneurship

In total, 13 reports were heard, according to the results of discussion by the members of the commission, the following winners were determined:

• Diploma of the first degree – Nabi Alina; 

• Diploma of the II degree – Davletkhan Nurai, Abdurakhman Aruzhan; 

• Diploma of the III degree – Taitoleu Ulan. 

           

On the third day of the Student Science Week on February 15, the Scientific Reports Section continued its work in three directions: 

1. Development of tourism services in the Republic of Kazakhstan 

2. The banking sector of Kazakhstan and its development at the present stage 

3. Financial and accounting problems of Kazakhstan 

In total, 13 reports were heard, according to the results of discussion by the members of the commission, the following winners were determined:

• Diploma of the first degree – Serik Ulbolsyn; 

• Diploma of the II degree – Andabayeva Ardana

• Diploma of the III degree – Hasanov Shakhmurad
