From August 19 to 25, the "China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week" is being held in Guiyang, in the southwest of China. The event is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC, the Ministry of Education of the PRC, and the People`s Government of Guizhou Province. The Rector of the International Engineering and Technology University, Sarsenbekova Gulnar Alibekovna, is participating in the event at the invitation of Chinese partners.

The event will present the latest achievements of exchanges and cooperation between China and ASEAN in the field of higher, vocational, basic and special education.

Since 2008, the "China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week" has evolved into a high-level platform and has become a reliable bridge in relations between China and ASEAN, as well as with other countries.

ASEAN comprises 10 member states: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines, with Brunei Darussalam, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia joining later.
