Student research work is one of the key conditions for
improving the quality of specialist training and implementing the teaching-research
paradigm of education.
In the Academic Writing Club (supervised by Dr. G.G.
Tsyrenzhapova), students become familiar with scientific articles related to
their field of study, published in Kazakhstani and Russian scientific journals.
The structural-semantic division of scientific texts, the creation of various
types of outlines, and the identification of the thesis and ways to argue it
help students understand and track the logic of the author’s scientific
reasoning.
The first experience of such work instills hope that,
in the future, students will learn how to find important information, navigate
relevant issues and their solutions within their professional field, and master
the principles of writing academically competent texts.
