On November 21, 2024, MITU held an interfaculty round
table on the topic "Entrepreneurship in Modern Conditions: Trends,
Challenges, and Development Prospects in the Republic of Kazakhstan" for
first to third-year students of the university. During the event, students
presented their projects on various topics related to entrepreneurship,
addressing current issues, and exploring the challenges and prospects of its
development in Kazakhstan.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of the
startup "365 Days of MITU," led by R.M. Emraev, Candidate of Economic
Sciences, along with third-year students from the Finance program of the Kazakh
department. This startup project is the first of its kind from the Department
of Economics and Business. The students developed a logo and organized a
smoothie tasting as part of their presentation.
The efforts of first-year advisors Sh.K. Nurbekova,
A.D. Kuntubaeva, and A.M. Doskaranova were also noted, as the participants of
the round table are from their advisory groups.
The session concluded with the awarding of
certificates of appreciation to the winners and a summary of the outcomes.
The event was organized under the leadership of
Professor Bizhanova Bakytkul Mamyrbaevna.
