On December 9, 2024, a delegation from the Yellow River Conservancy Technical Institute (YRCTI) visited International Engineering and Technological University (METU), where cooperation in the fields of education and science was discussed.

The delegation included:

• Zhang Yun, Director of the Information Management Department
• Zhang Dan, Vice Director for Academic Affairs
• Kong Lixin, Staff Member of the Department of Relations and Cooperation

The Yellow River Conservancy Technical Institute, one of China`s leading educational institutions in the field of ecology and environmental protection, became familiar with METU`s educational programs and discussed the prospects for joint efforts in teacher professional development, organizing short-term student exchange trips, and implementing collaborative teaching and research projects.

During the visit, an agreement was reached to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation, which will open new opportunities for students and faculty at both universities.
