On December 11, 2024, an international forum on the topic “Increasing the role of the employer in professional training as an indicator of the quality of educational programs in the context of globalization” was held at the International University of Engineering and Technology (MITU). " The event was attended by employers of leading enterprises, the management of MITU, as well as representatives of universities in Turkey, China, Korea, Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

As part of the forum, experts worked in the areas of the Department of Food Production Engineering and Technology. Invited employers and the faculty of the department took part in the meeting.

During the meeting, issues such as organizing joint events with employers as part of training personnel for MITU educational programs, organizing and conducting industrial practice and scientific internships for students at the employers` partners, involving employers in the educational process (lectures, conducting practical/laboratory classes, supervising dissertations, master`s theses, participation in final certification committees) and other issues were discussed. It was decided to further develop relations between employers and MITU.
