Hello everyone! I am Aida Torekhanova, a second-year student of the TIPP-23-1.3k group. I am an active student at METU and the chairperson of the ART Center organization. Speaking about my organization, I lead a group of more than 30 intelligent, responsible, talented, and creative students. We are not only focused on knowledge but also aim to make our student life exciting and unforgettable by participating in various activities. The ART Center enhances the creative potential of youth and has a significant impact on society through cultural values and art. This organization provides young people with the opportunity to express their creativity, implement innovative ideas, and understand the importance of responsibility and teamwork. The work of the ART Center is aimed at personal and professional development of young people and opens the way for them to fully realize their potential in the future. Currently, I have successfully completed the first semester of the academic year and am enjoying my winter break. This year has been an important phase in my self-development and increasing responsibility. I have learned how to manage my time effectively, set goals, and find ways to achieve them. Feeling the results of every decision and action, and being systematic in fulfilling my responsibilities has prepared me for future success. Also, my confidence has increased, and my desire to overcome any challenges has strengthened. I was very happy to hear that METU has declared 2025 as the "Year of Student Self-Government." I encourage other students to contribute to the development of our university. Where there is unity, goals are achieved more easily and effectively.
