The Department of «Engineering and Technology of Food Production» conducted career guidance activities covering 35 schools in Almaty. As part of these initiatives, faculty members and students from the department held meetings with high school students, introducing them to the educational opportunities and career prospects in the field of food technology. Special attention was given to the practical aspects of working in the industry, as well as employment prospects and development opportunities within the educational program.
The goal of these activities was
to assist students in choosing their future profession, provide information
about modern trends and demands in the labor market, and highlight the
importance and role of food technologies in the country’s economy.
Such active career guidance work
helps strengthen the connection between the educational process and the real
needs of the industry, while also fostering interest in careers in the field of
engineering and technology of food production.
