Students of
the International Engineering and Technological University (METU) continue to
actively share their experiences and inspire schoolchildren to choose their
professional paths. This week, our students visited their former schools, where
they conducted career guidance activities in the form of workshops.
During the
meetings, the students talked about their life at the university, shared
impressions about their studies, scientific projects, and active
extracurricular activities. Schoolchildren had the opportunity to learn
firsthand what it’s like to be part of the friendly and dynamic METU family.
The students also gave valuable advice on preparing for university admission
and answered numerous questions about choosing a major and the peculiarities of
student life.
The
workshop format allowed for interactive and engaging meetings. The
schoolchildren took part in exciting practical tasks prepared by the students,
and learned about the opportunities available at METU: modern educational
programs, participation in international competitions and internships, as well
as the development of leadership qualities through involvement in student
organizations.
METU is
proud of its students who enthusiastically share their knowledge and inspire
the younger generation. Such initiatives help strengthen the connection between
the university and schools, as well as assist schoolchildren in making an
informed choice about their future.
