On January 28, 2025, an important meeting was held at the International Engineering and Technology of University   (METU) with representatives of Russia`s leading universities, South Ural State University (South Ural State University) and the Russian University of Biotechnology (ROSBIOTECH) under the leadership of the first Vice-rector for Academic Affairs and International Relations of METU Akpanbetov D.B. in online format.

Cooperation between the universities has been successfully carried out for several years within the framework of the academic mobility program and through joint holding of international scientific conferences and seminars.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation and upcoming prospects, that is, opportunities for cooperation in the field of academic mobility of students and teachers, attracting scientists to guest lectures and developing joint educational programs within the framework of double-degree education.
