«Man of Labor»: A meeting was held with the chief editor of the national magazine "Tаң-Шолпан", writer Nurlibek Samatuly
The international engineering and Technological University hosted an evening of meetings with the participation of Nurlybek Samatovich, editor-in-chief of the Republican literary and artistic and mass magazine «Tan-Sholpan», writer, holder of the order «Kurmet», «Madeniyet salasyn uzdigi» in the heading «Man of Labor» and «year of student self-government 2025» of METU. During the meeting, the writer shared his thoughts on his creative path, activities in the field of literature and trends in the development of modern Kazakh literature. Students asked their questions, read the poet`s poems, and conducted an open conversation with the writer. Nurlybek Samatovich, in turn, spoke about the real life image of the characters in his works and the creative process of their performance. He also reflected on the combination of reality and imagination in literature, writing skills and the responsibility of a writer, which further increased the interest of students. The meeting was of great importance for the students. Reflecting on the continuity of creativity and science, the writer urged young people to be closer to knowledge, search, and literature. This, in turn, contributed to the spiritual development of students and increased confidence in the future. We hope that such meaningful meetings will continue in the future and expand the cognitive horizons of students.
