In honor of the 90th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet Mukagali Makatayev, 100 students from the Department of Software Engineering participated in a poetry reading challenge dedicated to his works. The event was organized within the university and attracted attention not only from students but also from faculty members.
The goal of the challenge was to deeply familiarize participants with the works of Makatayev. The students were divided into several groups, prepared to read the poems, and then took turns reciting them in classrooms. Faculty members supported the event and emphasized the importance of developing a creative approach and respect for national heritage among students.
The organizers mentioned that such initiatives help young people not only get acquainted with the works of great writers but also deepen their understanding of the native language and literature.
