The teaching and professorial staff of METU actively conducts career guidance among schoolchildren, helping them decide on their future profession and educational direction. 

As part of the career guidance, teachers of the Department of «Biochemical Engineering» visit schools, make presentations about METU, and introduce students to sought-after specialties, admission conditions, and career prospects. Special attention is paid to individual consultations, professional aptitude testing and practical workshops that help students to consciously approach the choice of profession. 

The career guidance work of METU teaching staff is aimed at supporting students in their professional self-determination and motivates them to make an informed choice of a future career.
