The opening of the «Science Week 2025» scientific-practical forum took place on February 18, 2025. Samara State Agrarian University, Osh State University, and the International Engineering and Technology University organized the event. The forum brought together leading scientists, researchers, and experts from different countries, providing a unique platform for exchanging knowledge and discussing pressing scientific issues.

In her welcome speech, Gulnar Sarsenbekova, Rector of the International Engineering and Technology University, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, and Corresponding Member of the National Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, emphasized that the «Science Week» forum has become a valuable tradition and a strong foundation for scientific cooperation between our institutions. She highlighted the significance of international collaboration among scientists, joint research efforts, and integrating innovative solutions into various scientific and technological fields.

As part of the forum, Professor Altynai Abuova of the «Food Production Engineering and Technology» Department, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, delivered a presentation on the topic «Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae). Quality Indicators of Solid Sea Buckthorn Oil». In her speech, Professor Abuova presented research findings on sea buckthorn oil`s composition, key characteristics, and applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries. The study generated great interest among participants, as sea buckthorn oil is known for its high nutritional and medicinal properties.

The «Science Week 2025» forum will continue over several days. It will feature presentations by leading scientists, panel discussions, and international scientific conferences.
