On September 8, an expanded meeting of the Board of Advisors was held at the Kazakhstan Engineering and Technology University, which was attended by the Rector of the University, G.A. Sarsenbekova, vice-rectors, heads of structural divisions, and teaching staff.
Opening the meeting of the Board of Advisors with a welcoming speech, Rector of KazITU Sarsenbekova G.A. noted that an adviser-teacher, along with the educational process, should educate students, form an environment conducive to the spiritual development of student youth and wished success in further work.
During the meeting, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Industrial Practice Akpanbetov D.B. focused on the organization of the educational process, academic requirements for students. Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and International Relations Karuna O.L. spoke about the principles and objectives of the work of advisors with students, the need for effective use of organizational and communicative abilities during the hours of advisors, the optimal use of educational material.
Also, the Director of the Department of Information Technology Shyndaly S. conducted a master class on the use of Platonus, AIS Kazetu platforms.
In conclusion, the schedule and topics of the advisory hours were developed, other topical issues for the 2022/2023 academic year were discussed.
